Can you help. I have found what appears to be a young grey parakeet it was very tame but could not fly to well. I have put it in a cage with fruit seed and water but now it seems very dosile. What cause of action should I take?

I assume you mean a grey cockatiel?
If so then maybe put a millet spray in the cage for it as well as the seed etc. It may not touch the fruit as often tiels are not fruit eaters but will like the parakeet seed mix.
Just leave it in the warm and quiet surroundings to get over it's shock of being out flying.
It may have had it's wings clipped which would account for it not flying properly.
